The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
