The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every backbiter, slanderer 1 Who amasseth wealth; and counteth it. 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 It will engulf them. 8 in outstretched columns. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
