And those who disbelieve say: when we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we, for sooth, be brought forth? 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say: It may be that a part of that which ye would hasten on is close behind you. 72 Indeed Your Lord is exceedingly bountiful to mankind. Yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 Verily your Lord knows what lies hidden in their breasts and what they disclose. 74 And not a thing is there hidden in heaven and earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 Verily, this Quran narrates to the Children of Israel most of that about which they differ. 76 And verily it is a guidance and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Verily, [O believer,] thy Sustainer will judge between them in His wisdom - for He alone is almighty, all-knowing. 78 Wherefore put thy trust in Allah; verily thou art on manifest truth. 79 Verily thou canst not make the dead hear, nor canst thou make the deaf hear the call when they flee turning their backs. 80 You cannot guide the straying blind ones. You can only make hear those who believe in Our revelations submissively. 81 ۞ And when the Word is fulfilled against them (the unjust), we shall produce from the earth a beast to (face) them: He will speak to them, for that mankind did not believe with assurance in Our Signs. 82
