Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 Verily thou art of the sent ones, 3 On a straight path. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 We have enchained their necks up to their chins. Thus, they cannot bend their heads (to find their way). 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
