Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you, 1 till you reached the grave. 2 But no, indeed, you shall soon know. 3 And once again: Nay, in time you will come to understand! 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 you would see the fire of Hell. 6 and you will see it with your own eyes. 7 and on that Day you will most surely be called to account for [what you did with] the boon of life! 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
