The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps you consume yourself that they are not believers. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 9
