The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the rangers ranging 1 By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way. 2 and those who recite Our revelations, 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and of what between them is Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 to protect them from the rebellious satan. 7 So that they are not able to listen to the angels of higher (echelons), and are pelted from all sides 8 and driven away to suffer the necessary torment. 9 But if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge], he shall be pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them whether they are stronger in creation or those (others) whom We have created. Surely We created them of firm clay. 11 You marvel (at the wondrous creations of Allah) and they scoff at it, 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 And whenever they see a sign, they mock at it. 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 Is it ever possible that after we die and are reduced to dust and (a skeleton of) bones, we will be raised to life? 16 And so also shall our forefathers of yore be raised to life?” 17 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' 18 There will be but a single blast and then their eyes will open. 19 And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20 [It will be said], "This is the Day of Judgement which you have been denying." 21
