Hizb 46

And Jonah too was one of the Messengers. 139 He abandoned his people 140 Then he joined the lots, and was of the condemned. 141 And the fish swallowed him while he was blameworthy; 142 And were he not one of those who praise. 143 He would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ So We cast him, sick, on a barren shore, 145 and caused a creeping plant to grow over him [out of the barren soil]. 146 We sent him to a hundred thousand men or more, 147 And they believed, so We gave them provision till a time. 148 Therefore ask them (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), whether the daughters are for your Lord and the sons for them! 149 Or, did We create the angels females while they were witnessing? 150 Lo! verily it is of their falsehood that they say: 151 "God has begotten children." They are truly liars. 152 Did He choose daughters rather than sons? 153 What aileth you? How judge ye? 154 Will you not, then, bethink yourselves? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Then bring your book, if ye say sooth. 157 They assert kinship between Him and the angels. But the angels know that they (the liars) will be arraigned (in Hell). 158 (They say): “Exalted be Allah above what they attribute to Him, 159 But not so the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 160 Lo! verily, ye and that which ye worship, 161 cannot mislead anyone 162 Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire. 163 There is not one of us but hath his known position. 164 And verily we! we are ranged in ranks. 165 Lo! we, even we are they who hymn His praise 166 And surely they used to say: 167 "If only we had a tradition [to this effect] from our forebears, 168 “We would certainly be the chosen bondmen of Allah.” 169 They have rejected the Quran. They will soon know the consequences (of their disbelief). 170 We have already given Our promise to Our Messengers 171 [That] indeed, they would be those given victory 172 and that, verily, Our hosts - they indeed - would [in the end] be victorious! 173 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) awhile, 174 And watch them and they shall see (the punishment)! 175 So are they being impatient for Our punishment? 176 But when it cometh home to them, then it will be a hapless morn for those who have been warned. 177 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 178 And see thou: they themselves shall presently see. 179 Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Honor, above what they describe. 180 Peace be upon the Messengers 181 And Praise to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds. 182
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
