The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11
Almighty God's Truth.
