T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Koran to you for you to be tired, 2 But only as a reminder for those who fear [Allah] - 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens, 4 the Most Gracious, established on the throne of His almightiness? 5 His is whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever on the earth and whatsoever is in between and whatsoever is underneath the earth. 6 And if you speak aloud - then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden. 7 Allah! no God there is but he! His are the names excellent. 8 Has the story of Moses reached you? 9 Lo! he saw a fire [in the desert]; and so he said to his family: "Wait here! Behold, I perceive a fire [far away]: perhaps I can bring you a brand there from, or find at the fire some guidance." 10 But when he came to the fire, a voice was heard: "O Moses! 11 Verily I am your Lord! Take off your shoes. You are in the sacred valley, Tuwa! 12 I have chosen you as My Messengers. Listen to the revelation. 13 "Verily, I am Allah: There is no god but I: So serve thou Me (only), and establish regular prayer for celebrating My praise. 14 Verily the Hour (of the great change) is about to come. I keep it secret that every soul may be rewarded for its endeavour. 15 So do not let one avert you from it who does not believe in it and follows his desire, for you [then] would perish. 16 "What do you have in your right hand, Moses?" 17 'It is my staff," Moses replied, "upon it I lean and with it I beat down leaves to feed my sheep and for me there are other uses in it' 18 (Allah) said, "Throw it, O Moses!" 19 Moses threw it on the ground and suddenly he saw that it was a moving serpent. 20 (Allah) said, "Seize it, and fear not: We shall return it at once to its former condition".. 21 And thrust thy hand within thine armpit, it will come forth white without hurt. (That will be) another token. 22 That We may shew thee of Our Signs the greatest. 23 Go to Pharaoh; he has transgressed all bounds." 24
