Indeed, it is We who have sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Qur'an progressively. 23 So persevere with the command of your Lord and do not pay any heed to the wicked and the unbelieving, 24 Mention the Name of your Lord, mornings and evenings. 25 and prostrate yourself before Him at night, and extol His Glory during the long watches of the night. 26 Surely these love the transitory and neglect a grievous day before them. 27 We created them, and We strengthened their joints, but, when We will, We shall indeed exchange their likes. 28 Surely this is a reminder, so whoever pleases takes to his Lord a way. 29 But you cannot will it unless God wills [to show you that way] -- God is indeed all-knowing and wise -- 30 He maketh whom He will to enter His mercy, and for evil-doers hath prepared a painful doom. 31
