Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ha. Mim. 1 The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. 2 Verily, in the heavens and the earth are signs for the believers. 3 In creating you and spreading all the moving things (on earth) are signs for people firm of faith, 4 And in the alternation of night and day and that which Allah sendeth down of provision from the heaven and thereby quickeneth the earth after the death thereof and the turning about of the winds, are signs unto a people who reflect. 5 These are Allah's Signs that We rehearse to you in Truth. In what kind of discourse after Allah and His Signs will they, then, believe? 6 Woe unto every liar, sinner! 7 Who hears the verses of Allah which are recited to him, then remains stubborn, proud, as if he did not hear them; therefore give him the glad tidings of a painful punishment. 8 And when he learns something of Our Verses (this Quran), he makes them a jest. For such there will be a humiliating torment. 9 Behind them Gehenna; and that they have earned shall not avail them aught, nor those they took as protectors, apart from God; for them awaits a mighty chastisement. 10 This is guidance. Those who deny the revelations of their Lord will suffer a dreadful doom. 11
