With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We! 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 So flee to Allah (from His Torment to His Mercy Islamic Monotheism), verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 and do not set up any deity with Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 The evildoers shall have for their portion, a portion like their companions (who were destroyed before them). Therefore, they should not ask Us to hasten! 59 For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised 60
