Mutual Blaming (Al-Taghaabun)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth halloweth Allah. His is the dominion; and His is the praise; and He is over everything potent. 1 He it is Who created you, but one of you is an unbeliever and another of you is a believer; and Allah sees what you do. 2 He created the heavens and the earth for a purpose. He formed you and gave you the best of forms. To Him you shall all return. 3 He knows all that is in the heavens and the earth and all that you reveal or conceal. God knows best whatever the hearts contain. 4 Has not the story reached you, of those who rejected Faith aforetime? So they tasted the evil result of their conduct; and they had a grievous Penalty. 5 this, because time and again there came unto them their apostles with all evidence of the truth, but they [always] replied, "Shall mere mortal men be our guides?" And so they denied the truth and turned away. But God was not in need [of them]: for God is self-sufficient, ever to be praised. 6 The disbelievers pretend that they will never be resurrected (for the Account). Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes! By my Lord, you will certainly be resurrected, then you will be informed of (and recompensed for) what you did, and that is easy for Allah. 7 Believe then, [O men,] in God and His Apostle, and in the light [of revelation] which We have bestowed [on you] from on high! And God is fully aware of all that you do. 8 The Day on which He will gather you for the Day of Gathering; that is the Day of Loss and Gain. He who believes in Allah and does good deeds, Allah will acquit him of his evil deeds and admit him to Gardens underneath which rivers flow, where he shall live for ever. That is the mighty triumph. 9 But those who disbelieve and deny Our revelations, such are owners of the Fire; they will abide therein - a hapless journey's end! 10
