You can never attain virtue until you spend in Allah's cause the things you love; and Allah is Aware of whatever you spend. 92 ۞ All food was lawful to the Children of Israel, except what Israel Made unlawful for itself, before the Law (of Moses) was revealed. Say: "Bring ye the Law and study it, if ye be men of truth." 93 Whoso forges falsehood against God after that, those are the evildoers. 94 Say: Allah speaketh truth. So follow the religion of Abraham, the upright. He was not of the idolaters. 95 Lo! the first Sanctuary appointed for mankind was that at Becca, a blessed place, a guidance to the peoples; 96 In it are Signs Manifest; (for example), the Station of Abraham; whoever enters it attains security; Pilgrimage thereto is a duty men owe to Allah,- those who can afford the journey; but if any deny faith, Allah stands not in need of any of His creatures. 97 Say: "O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Why do you reject the Ayat of Allah (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) while Allah is Witness to what you do?" 98 Say: 'People of the Book, why do you bar he who believes from the Path of Allah and seek to make it crooked, when you yourselves are witnesses? Allah is not inattentive of what you do' 99 Believers, if you obey a certain group among the People of the Book, they will turn you back to disbelief. 100 And how would you disbelieve, while unto you are recited the Verses of Allah, and among you is His Messenger (Muhammad SAW)? And whoever holds firmly to Allah, (i.e. follows Islam Allah's Religion, and obeys all that Allah has ordered, practically), then he is indeed guided to a Right Path. 101
