Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 in whatever form He pleased? 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 watching over you 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 It will be a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to any other human being, God [alone] will hold command on that Day. 19
