Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

By the midmorning, 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
