The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
