We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
