The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ (Allah) Most Gracious! 1 Taught the Quran. 2 He created the human being 3 and taught him its pronunciation. 4 The sun and the moon are scheduled. 5 And the herbs and the trees do prostrate (to Him). 6 He raised the heavens and set up the measure, 7 That you may not be inordinate in respect of the measure. 8 and weigh with justice, and skimp not in the Balance.) 9 And the earth He has put for the creatures. 10 Therein is fruit and palms having sheathed clusters, 11 the grain in the blade; and aromatic herbs. 12 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 13 He created man from clay like [that of] pottery. 14 And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire. 15 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? 16 He is the Lord of the two easts and the Lord of the two wests. 17 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 18 He has made the two seas to flow freely (so that) they meet together: 19 and yet there is a barrier between them which they may not overstep. 20 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 21 From them come forth the pearl and the coral. 22 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 23 Also, His are the ships that run, raised up like mountains upon the sea. 24 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
