BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And what you do not see 39 most surely, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We would surely have seized him by the right hand, 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 but We know that some of you will cry lies. 49 It is surely the nemesis of unbelievers. 50 And indeed it is a certain Truth. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
