The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan, and shelter thee? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
Almighty God's Truth.
