Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 (Muhammad), they ask you, "When will the Hour of Doom come?" 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46
