'Lord, open my breast,' said Moses, 25 And ease my task for me; 26 And loose the knot from my tongue, 27 That they may understand my saying. 28 And appoint for me a minister from my household. 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 To strengthen me 31 and let him share my task 32 That we may glorify Thee much 33 and remember you often. 34 You are surely watching over us. 35 He said, “O Moosa, you have been granted your prayer.” 36 "And indeed, We bestowed Our favour upon thee at a time long since past, 37 “When We inspired in your mother’s heart whatever was to be inspired.” 38 Saying: Throw him into the ark, and throw it into the river, then the river shall throw it on to the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will, 39 Recall when your sister walked along and said, "Shall I guide you to one who will take care of him?" Thus We returned you to your mother, so that her eyes might be cooled and that she might not grieve. And you killed a man and We delivered you from sorrow. We tested you with various trials. You stayed for a number of years among the people of Midian, then you came upto the standard, Moses. 40 I chose you for Myself. 41 "Go you and your brother with My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and do not, you both, slacken and become weak in My Remembrance. 42 “Both of you go to Firaun; he has indeed rebelled.” 43 yet speak gently to him, that haply he may be mindful, or perchance fear.' 44 'O our Lord' both said, 'We fear lest he may be excessive against us or become insolent' 45 He (Allah) said: "Fear not, verily! I am with you both, hearing and seeing. 46 So go ye unto him and say: Lo! we are two messengers of thy Lord. So let the children of Israel go with us, and torment them not. We bring thee a token from thy Lord. And peace will be for him who followeth right guidance. 47 it has been revealed to us that punishment shall overtake him who rejects it and turns away!'" 48 Pharaoh said:" Moses! Who is the Lord of the two of you?" 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave to everything its creation, then guided it (to its goal). 50 He said: then what happened to the former generations? 51 Musa said: the knowledge thereof is with my Lord in the Book; my Lord erreth not, nor He forgetteth. 52 It is He who has made for you the earth as a cradle and threaded roads for you and sends down water from the sky with which We bring forth every kind of plant. 53 You eat and let your cattle graze' Surely, in this there are signs for those of understanding. 54
