The People of the Woods denied the Noble Messengers. 176 When Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 177 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 178 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 179 I ask no recompense of you for this. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 180 ۞ Give a full measure and be not of those who diminish; 181 weigh with an even balance 182 do not defraud people of what is rightfully theirs; and do not spread corruption in the land. 183 "And fear Him Who created you and (who created) the generations before (you)" 184 They said: Thou art but one of the bewitched; 185 You are but a man like ourselves, and indeed, we think you are among the liars. 186 So cause thou a fragment of the heaven to fall upon us, if thou art of the truth-tellers. 187 He said: 'My Lord knows what you are doing' 188 But they called him a liar, so the punishment of the day of covering overtook them; surely it was the punishment of a grievous day. 189 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not Muslims. 190 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 191
