Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
YA SIN. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 That you are indeed one of those sent 3 pursuing a straight way 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
