Hizb 46
< random >
And verily Yunus was of the sent ones. 139 He ran away to the laden ship, 140 And he drew lots and was among the losers. 141 So the fish swallowed him while he did that for which he blamed himself 142 And had he not been of those who exalt Allah, 143 He would have remained in its belly till the day when all will be raised. 144 ۞ We cast him out of the fish unto dry land and he was sick. 145 And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine. 146 Then We sent him unto a hundred thousand, or more, 147 and they believed, and We gave them enjoyment for awhile. 148 So inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons? 149 Have We created the angels as females before their very eyes? 150 Lo! verily it is of their falsehood that they say: 151 "God has begotten [a son]"; and verily, they are lying [too, when they say,] 152 "He has chosen daughters in preference to sons"! 153 What is the matter with you? How do you judge? 154 What, will you not remember? 155 Or is there for you a plain authority? 156 Then bring ye your Book (of authority) if ye be truthful! 157 And they have invented a kinship between Him and the jinns, but the jinns know well that they have indeed to appear (before Him) (i.e. they will be brought for accounts). 158 Glorified is Allah! (He is Free) from what they attribute unto Him! 159 but not so the true servants of God, 160 So surely you and what you worship, 161 you shall tempt none against Him 162 Except those who are predestined to burn in Hell! 163 (Those ranged in ranks say): "Not one of us but has a place appointed; 164 And indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer]. 165 and we glorify God". 166 And indeed the disbelievers used to say, 167 "If we had had with us a Book like that of the people of old, 168 "We should certainly have been Servants of Allah, sincere (and devoted)!" 169 But they disbelieved in it; soon they shall know! 170 And assuredly Our word hath already gone forth Our bondmen, the sent ones: 171 assuredly they shall be helped, 172 and that Our hosts shall triumph. 173 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them for a while, 174 And wait; they will come to know soon. 175 What! would they then hasten on Our chastisement? 176 But when it cometh home to them, then it will be a hapless morn for those who have been warned. 177 Stay away from them for a while 178 And see thou: they themselves shall presently see. 179 Glory be to thy Lord, the Lord of Glory, above that they describe! 180 And peace be upon the Envoys; 181 And all praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds! 182
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
