۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 in a hidden Book 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
