O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Taiyibat [all kinds of Halal (legal) foods which Allah has made legal (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits, etc.)], and do righteous deeds. Verily! I am Well-Acquainted with what you do. 51 And verily! This your religion (of Islamic Monotheism) is one religion, and I am your Lord, so keep your duty to Me. 52 But they cut off their religion among themselves into sects, each part rejoicing in that which is with them. 53 Wherefore leave thou them in their bewilderment for a season. 54 Deem they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We enlarge them. 55 We are hastening to them of good things? Nay, they do not perceive. 56 Verily those who for fear of their Lord are in awe. 57 And those who believe in the communications of their Lord, 58 And those who do not associate (aught) with their Lord, 59 And those who give whatsoever they give, while their hearts are anxious that unto their Lord they are to be returners. 60 It is these who hasten in every good work, and these who are foremost in them. 61 We charge not any soul save to its capacity, and with Us is a Book speaking truth, and they shall not be wronged. 62 But their hearts are in confused ignorance of this; and there are, besides that, deeds of theirs, which they will (continue) to do,- 63 Till, when We seize with the chastisement the ones of them that live at ease, behold, they groan. 64 (We shall say): 'Do not groan today, surely you shall receive no help from Us' 65 Surely My signs have been rehearsed unto you, and upon your heel ye were wont to draw back. 66 Insolently, treating them like tales told at night." 67 Was it that you did not give any thought to it (the Quran)? Was it different from what was revealed to your fathers? 68 Or is it, perchance, that they have not recognized their Apostle, and so they disavow him? 69 Or they say, “He is afflicted by a demon”; in fact he brought the Truth to them, and most of them dislike the Truth. 70 Were the Truth to follow their desires, the order of the heavens and the earth and those who dwell in them would have been ruined. Nay, the fact is that We have brought to them their own remembrance; and yet it is from their own remembrance that they are turning away. 71 (Do they disbelieve because) you asked them for payment? The reward that you will receive from your Lord is the best. He is the best Provider. 72 And indeed you call them to the Straight Path. 73 But indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviating from the path. 74 ۞ Did We have mercy on them, and remove the affliction that is upon them, they would persist in their insolence wandering blindly. 75 We seized them with the punishment, but they did not surrender to their Lord, nor will they humble themselves 76 To the extent that when We opened the gate of a severe punishment for them, they thereupon lie despairingly in it. 77
