The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
