The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 by the promised day, 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 Accursed be the People of the Ditch! 4 [Containing] the fire full of fuel, 5 When they were sitting near it 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 And they persecuted them for naught save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praiseworthy 8 to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and believing women, and then do not repent, will surely suffer the punishment of Hell, and the torment of burning. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Verily the grip of thine Lord is severe. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He alone is truly-forgiving, all-embracing in His love, 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 and the Most Effective in His decision. 16 Has the story reached thee, of the forces- 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 Nay, but the unbelievers still cry lies, 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
