Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 (And) you are turning aside from it: 68 I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; 69 This alone is revealed to me, I am only a clear warner' 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 “So when I have perfected him and breathed into him a spirit from Myself, (you all) fall down before him in prostration.” 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 The Lord said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands. Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?” 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
