In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Ha. Mim. 1 A revelation from the most benevolent, ever-merciful, 2 a Book whose verses have been well-expounded; an Arabic Qur'an for those who have knowledge, 3 good tidings to bear, and warning, but most of them have turned away, and do not give ear. 4 And they say, "Our hearts are within coverings from that to which you invite us, and in our ears is deafness, and between us and you is a partition, so work; indeed, we are working." 5 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a human being like you. It is inspired in me that your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (God - Allah), therefore take Straight Path to Him (with true Faith Islamic Monotheism) and obedience to Him, and seek forgiveness of Him. And woe to Al-Mushrikun (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, idolaters, etc. - see V. 2:105). 6 Those who do not give zakah, and in the Hereafter they are disbelievers. 7 [But,] verily, they who have attained to faith and do good works shall have a reward unending! 8
