Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 and produce sparks 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
