O believers, devour not usury, doubled and redoubled, and fear you God; haply so you will prosper. 130 Save yourselves from the fire which is prepared for the unbelievers. 131 And obey Allah and the Messenger that you may obtain mercy. 132 ۞ And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous 133 Those who spend in Allah’s cause, in happiness and in grief, and who control their anger and are forgiving towards mankind; and the righteous are the beloved of Allah. 134 (Paradise) is also for those who, when committing a sin or doing injustice to themselves, remember God and ask Him to forgive their sins. Who can forgive sins besides God? And who do not knowingly persist in their mistakes? 135 Those! their meed is forgiveness from their Lord and Gardens whereunder rivers flow; they shall be abiders therein. Excellent is the hire of the workers! 136 Indeed there have been examples before you; therefore travel in the earth and see what was the end of the rejecters. 137 This (Quran) is a reminder for the people and a guide and advice for the pious. 138 Do not be weak, neither sorrow while you are the upper ones, if you are believers. 139 If a wound hath touched you, be sure a similar wound hath touched the others. Such days (of varying fortunes) We give to men and men by turns: that Allah may know those that believe, and that He may take to Himself from your ranks Martyr-witnesses (to Truth). And Allah loveth not those that do wrong. 140 and makes men go through trials in order that He might purge the believers and blot out those who deny the Truth. 141 Do you think you will go to Paradise while God does not know who among you strive and persist? 142 You certainly wished to die (for the cause of God) before you actually faced death. Then you faced death (in the battlefield and only a few of you had the true desire to die). 143
