[Moses] said, "My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] 25 'and do Thou ease for me my task. 26 Remove the defect of my tongue 27 That they may understand my speech. 28 Appoint for me a henchman from my folk, 29 "Aaron, my brother; 30 "Add to my strength through him, 31 and associate him with me in my task. 32 so that we may glorify 33 and remember Thee without cease! 34 You are surely seeing us' 35 The Lord said, "Moses, your request is granted. 36 It is the second time that We have bestowed upon you Our favor. 37 "When We inspired your mother with that which We inspired. 38 Saying: Put him into a chest, then cast it down into the river, then the river shall throw him on the shore; there shall take him up one who is an enemy to Me and enemy to him, and I cast down upon you love from Me, and that you might be brought up before My eyes; 39 “When your sister went, then said, ‘Shall I show you the people who may nurse him?’ And We brought you back to your mother in order to soothe her eyes and that she may not grieve; and you killed a man, so We freed you from sorrow, and tested you to the maximum; you therefore stayed for several years among the people of Madyan; then you came (here) at an appointed time, O Moosa.” 40 "And I have prepared thee for Myself (for service)".. 41 "Go, thou and thy brother, with My Signs, and slacken not, either of you, in keeping Me in remembrance. 42 Then go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious. 43 and speak to him gently, perhaps he may take heed or fear (Allah)." 44 They said, "Lord, we are afraid of his transgression and rebellion against us". 45 He said: Fear not. Lo! I am with you twain, Hearing and Seeing. 46 They came to the Pharaoh and told him that they were the Messengerss of his Lord and that they wanted him to let the Israelites go with them and stop afflicting the Israelites with torment. They told the Pharaoh, "We have brought miracles from Our Creator. Peace be with those who follow the right guidance. 47 Verily we! it hath been revealed unto us that the torment will be for him who belieth and turneth away. 48 (Firon) said: And who is your Lord, O Musa? 49 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each thing its form and nature, then guided it aright." 50 He said: What then is the state of the generations of old? 51 [Moses] said, "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 It is He who has made for you the earth as a cradle and threaded roads for you and sends down water from the sky with which We bring forth every kind of plant. 53 To eat and feed your cattle. Surely there are signs in these for those who are wise. 54
