Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

I swear by that which ye see. 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 That it is surely the speech brought by messenger honourable. 40 It is not poet's speech - little is it that ye believe! 41 Nor is this the speech of a soothsayer. Little do you reflect! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand 45 Then cut off his aorta, 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 It is really a reminder for those who fear God and follow the straight path. 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers. 50 And most surely it is the true certainty 51 Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 52

God the Almighty always says the truth.
