WHAT, THEN, is amiss with such as are bent on denying the truth, that they run about confusedly to and fro before thee, 36 On the right and on the left, in groups? 37 Does every one of them hope to enter [by this means] a garden of bliss? 38 No, that is not like that! Verily, We have created them out of that which they know! 39 I swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests, that, verily We are Able. 40 to replace them with others better than them: nothing can prevent Us from doing this, 41 Therefore leave them, involved in their indecencies and play, till they confront their day which they are promised. 42 The day when they come forth from the graves in haste, as racing to a goal, 43 Their eyes cast down; disgrace shall overtake them; that is the day which they were threatened with. 44
