The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
