The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
