Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Ha Mim 1 The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. 2 Surely in the heavens and earth there are signs for the believers; 3 And in your creation, and what He scattered (through the earth) of moving (living) creatures are signs for people who have Faith with certainty. 4 As there are signs in the alternation of night and day, and in rain that God sends with which He revives the earth once dead, as there are in the changing of the winds, for people who can understand. 5 These are revelations of God which we recite to you correctly: In what other lore but God and His manifestations would they then believe? 6 Woe to each sinful dealer in Falsehoods: 7 He hears the verses of Allah recited to him and then, as though he never heard them, persists in insolence. Give to him the glad tidings of a painful punishment. 8 As for he who knows something of Our verses and then mocks them for those there is a humiliating punishment. 9 Hell is awaiting them and none of their deeds will be of any benefit to them, nor will any guardian whom they have chosen besides God. They will suffer a great torment. 10 This (Quran) is a guidance. And those who disbelieve in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, for them there is a painful torment of Rijz (a severe kind of punishment). 11
