Is it harder to create you or the heaven? But Allah built it, 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
