And recite in the Book the account of Moses. He was a chosen one, a Messenger, a Prophet. 51 We called him from the right side of the Mount, and brought him close for communion; 52 From Our Mercy We gave him, his brother Aaron, a Prophet. 53 And mention in the Book Ishmael; he was true to his promise, and he was a Messenger, a Prophet. 54 He enjoined on his household worship and zakat, and he was obedient to his Lord. 55 And mention in the Book (the Quran) Idris (Enoch). Verily! He was a man of truth, (and) a Prophet. 56 We granted him a high position. 57 These are they unto whom Allah showed favour from among the prophets, of the seed of Adam and of those whom We carried (in the ship) with Noah, and of the seed of Abraham and Israel, and from among those whom We guided and chose. When the revelations of the Beneficent were recited unto them, they fell down, adoring and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ Then there succeeded them a posterity who neglected the prayers and followed lusts; so presently they shall meet with perdition. 59 except those who repent and believe and act righteously. Such shall enter Paradise and shall not be wronged at all. 60 The gardens of perpetuity which the Beneficent Allah has promised to His servants while unseen; surely His promise shall come to pass. 61 They will not hear therein any meaningless words. They will be greeted (by the angels) with "Peace be with you," and they will receive their sustenance both in the mornings and evenings. 62 Such is the Paradise which We shall give as an inheritance to those of Our slaves who have been Al-Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2). 63 AND [the angels say]: "We do not descend [with revelation,] again and again, other than by thy Sustainer's command: unto Him belongs all that lies open before us and all that is hidden from us and all that is in-between. And never does thy Sustainer forget [anything] 64 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between. Serve Him, then, and be constant in serving Him. Do you know anyone that might be His compeer?" 65
