۞ And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
