Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 to provide excuses for some and to give warnings to others: 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 And when the time comes for raising the little girls (buried alive) -- 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things). 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 the living and the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
