The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the pluckers (the angels of death), violently plucking (the souls of the unbelievers), 1 By those (angels) who gently take out (the souls of the believers); 2 By the lone stars floating, 3 and those that outstrip suddenly 4 And then they manage the affair, 5 On the day when the trembling one will tremble. (The disbelievers will certainly taste the punishment.) 6 and will be followed by another quaking. 7 Many a heart will flutter on that day! 8 while eyes will be downcast. 9 (Now) they are saying: Shall we really be restored to our first state 10 What! when we are rotten bones? 11 They said: That then would be a return occasioning loss. 12 But it will be only a single blow, 13 and behold! They will all come out in the open. 14 Has the story of Moses come to you 15 When his Lord called to him in Tuwa's holy vale? 16 "Go thou to Pharaoh for he has indeed transgressed all bounds: 17 "And say to him, 'Wouldst thou that thou shouldst be purified (from sin)?- 18 "'And that I guide thee to thy Lord, so thou shouldst fear Him?'" 19 Then did (Moses) show him the Great Sign. 20 But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed. 21 Then he quickly turned his back. 22 then he mustered 23 and said, "I am your Lord All-Highest!" 24 Allah therefore seized him, in the punishment of this world and the Hereafter. 25 Verily, in this is an instructive admonition for whosoever fears Allah. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
