ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 So, do not be hasty with them. We are counting their number (of days). 84 On the day when We shall assemble the righteous towards the Most Gracious, as guests. 85 And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst 86 None will have power to intercede for them except one who obtains a promise from Ar-Rahman. 87 And they say: the Compassionate hath taken a son. 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 Which would cleave the skies asunder, rend the earth, and split the mountains, 90 That they should ascribe unto the Compassionate a son. 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
