Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
