The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding back-biter, 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever. 3 No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 In outstretched columns. 9

True are the words of God the Almighty.
