And We had certainty settled the Children of Israel in an agreeable settlement and provided them with good things. And they did not differ until [after] knowledge had come to them. Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ 93 So if you are in doubt, [O Muhammad], about that which We have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Scripture before you. The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so never be among the doubters. 94 And never be of those who denied the signs of Allah, for you will then be of the losers. 95 Indeed, those upon whom the word of your Lord has come into effect will not believe, 96 Even if every sign should come to them, until they see the painful punishment. 97 So if only had there been one dwelling* that believed and its belief would have benefited it – except the nation of Yunus (Jonah)! When they accepted faith, We removed the disgraceful punishment in the life of this world from them, and let them enjoy for a while. (* That was destroyed after being warned.) 98 Had your Lord wished, the whole of mankind would have believed in Him. (Muhammad), do you force people to have faith? 99 No soul can believe, except by the will of Allah, and He will place doubt (or obscurity) on those who will not understand. 100 (Muhammad), tell them to consider that which is in the heavens and the earth. Evidence and warnings are of no avail to the disbelieving people. 101 So what are they waiting for, except the days similar to the days of those who passed away before them? Say, “Then wait! I too am waiting with you.” 102 In the end We deliver Our messengers and those who believe: Thus is it fitting on Our part that We should deliver those who believe! 103
